Earth Formed
Scientists believe that about 4.6 billion years ago Earth began as a ball of dust, rock, and ice. There theory is that gravity pulled it all together. When earth was forming it had almost no oxygen, so no humans or modern life could live there.
Oceans Formed
4 billion years ago at first the Earth was to hot for water, all water they had evaporated into water vapor. Later the Earth began to cool and when it started to ran they eventually had water.
Oldest Rock
In the northwest territories of Canada the oldest rock was found. The oldest rock ever been recorded is 3.8 billion years old.
Prokaryotic Cell
The Prokaryotic cell was a simple cell 3.5 billion years ago. The Prokaryotic cell is greek for " Before the nucleus." A nucleus means the most important part of an object.
Eukaryotic Cell
2 billion years ago when all cells lived in the ocean, a few earlier cells evolved into more complicated cells called Eukaryotic.
Jellyfish- like an animal
Jellyfish have drifted on the top of the ocean for 600 million years. Jellyfish are multicellular, which means they have more than one cell.
Arthropods
Insects, spiders, lobsters, and crabs are all Arthropods. They developed about 550 million years ago, and there ancestors were a type of worm.
First Mass Extinction
When it got to the end of the Precambrian times, they were marked by a extended ice age. The effect from that was there may have been a lot of extinction and mirroring the bleak endings to the geologic periods that may occur.
This era was most known for cells, things forming, and how old the world is. The Precambrian era also known as "Age to Ancient" was seven eighths of the earths history and is very important to learn about
